my brother in law has a family plan & has an open line but it's not in use. i want to get the samsung galaxy s3 when it comes out 16gb version which is $200. so my question is do you have to pay activation fee ? & are there any other charges? i'm selling my metro phone for $250 & want to make sure i have enough.
 
They should wave the activation fee, but you'll be paying aroud 250 after taxes

Go to radio shack they have the GSIII for 150, which will turn out to be about 200 bucks even...just did it yesterday at the shack!
