Ok, so I was painting my monochromatic acrylic painting just fine until I mixed my base color with black. The black was so thick.......like mashed potatoes, and chunky. My base color was a mix of red and brown, and when I mixed black, it made a dark purplish color. I painted that on, but now I hate it! The color was supposed to be dark, dark red, and now it looks like dark purple! And the black paint that I mixed with the red paint was so thick and chunky that it looks horrible! I need to paint a different color over it! How do I make it more red?? Why is it purple???? Help!!!!
Will I be able to paint over it with a lighter color?
