Hello, I am currently a junior in high school to be a senior, and I'm already trying to prepare, but it feels like it's some pressure.
I wanna pursue a career in both Singing and Dancing, but not sure which College will provide me with the modern teaching I want and need, and which ones offer scholarships and I can actually afford, as my situation is not the best, but I do have good grades so I can maybe apply for scholarships?
Anyone are there any GOOD Colleges for the field around the area of miami? Tell me I don't have to go to New York to become a successful professional singer and dancer.
Well, let me tell you a bit more. My dream since young has always been to become an Artist and now I want to pursue this as a major in College and probably a minor for dancing. (major Music)
I do have the talent, but of course to become successfull I need the training. I am not expecting to become a famous artist first of, but I do expect to become very well trained, and prepared to whichever Fine Arts school I choose to go. I take this very seriously and would really want to pursue this not only as a career but as a life goal as well. I figured I much rather do something that I love and have passion for, even if I don't earn as much money, and it doesn't deliver much, I am still doing what I love and will,hopefully live off of it.
But anyways, to the point, do any of you know about any Colleges around Miami??? What do they require and whats do I need to be accepted. Are there modern Performing Arts school that would help me get into the Television industry, or at least prepare me well enough to be an artist.
Which colleges are more convenient and less Expensive?? Which offer scholarships.
My g.pa at the moment is 3.10
I will bring it up to a 3.40 by my senior..
Thank you very much!!! I hope to get some responses
)
AND Those who are experienced and can guide me a little in this field,and what it takes to become a professional dancer/musician, I would really appreciate it!!!
**EXTRA***And maybe I can apply to a performing arts college with a major/minor aside for other career? Financial career. Meaning, as I study the fine arts I can still study for a major career can I do that too?
