I watched her all summer in my window sill. really cool spider. back in oct. she went up under my house siding to sleep for the winter. Christmas day I found her on the bottom of the sill. she doesn't look healthy and obviously spiders don't walk around in the snow, but she's not crispy like a dead spider would be. I have moved her off the ground and into an empty turned over pot in my garage. I don't know what else i can do to help. would bringing her in for the winter and keeping her in an aquarium mess up her natural life cycle? did she have stored food up there that she needs now? does any body have any ideas other than killing her.
help a large garden spider survive hibernation when she fell out of her hidyhole?
