Help 4870 Sonic Dual Edition and power supply load test?

hey i need a program to tell me how much load is on my power supply if that is possible?
I have a Vantec Power supply, Ion 2+ 550Watt Power supply.
I also have a Palit Radeon™ HD 4870 1GB Sonic Dual Edition, that has a manafacture sonic switch. I was wondering if i have enough power to turn this switch on?
I currently am runing it at regular 4870 settings.
