help *228 problem

my phone wont call out or anything and when i do *228 to says sorry we can not program your phone at this time my phone is a little over 24 hours old

Is it a Cricket phone? If not, what version PRL is loaded in the phone? Assuming you're in the greater Portland metro area, have you tried *22804?

yes it is a cricket phone prl 1040 is loaded on it and yes when i call *22804 it say "welcome to americanroaming.com"

sometimes my NAM screws up and i have to switch back and forth, but usually when i set the SID to the proper area, i get the cricket recording.

bro its the min that is not correct/ sometimes the min is the same as your phone nuraber and sometimes its not/ i encounter the same exact thing and my min is different than my phone #/ i called cricket and gave them security info and then they gave me my min/ my daRAB min is the same as his phone nuraber/ try your phone # first (the 10 digits) then if its not working still then call and ask for it. they wont really give u a hard time or nothing so good luck :2thurabs:

i dont know what phone u have but mine is 6700 and ##778 is where u go to change min info

if you have the right prl you only need to dial *228.



what model phone are you using?
call cs to verify the correct esn is on the account.
ask for your min too.

get that info and we can help you to program

well i've had that problem with multiple things. MIN wrong, SID wrong, and NAM locked up and PRL would only load on NAM-2. If its a cricket phone, just take it in.

it turned out my mdn was set wrong they had to manual reset it
