Helmet law

Here in GA mandatory. AL mandatory. FL must have insurance that can cover $10,000 or more for medical.

Ducati leathers- $1200
Ducati 1198- $ 16500

While I agree with you in spirit. I think it is irresponsible to not implement helmet laws. I remember reading that 90% of fatal accidents when a helmet is not worn would of been prevented if one was used.

The only reason I bring up this thread is because I saw so many riders today riding with out one. Some on the highway as well.
 
I can't imagine riding helmet-less at highway speeds. The wind dries out the eyes and is quite irritating. And there's small stones and rocks that can be flung to your face. And nasty little bugs. Maybe it's just me, but I find wearing a helmet is much more comfortable than not wearing one.

Malfunction01 - Lemme guess you're probably antigun too? I wear a helmet when I ride my Duc. When I'm on my Harley I do not. Its my choice! Not yours nor some idiot legislator who thinks they know what is best for me!
 
I suppose in some places you have a choice, but I don't get why you'd ride without one.

I'd be dead twice over or worse, a drooling fucking vegetable (more than I am now), if I had not worn one.

If your brain/life/face is not as important as feeling you look cool then go for it. Don't forget to post pics.
