Anyone else heard from the new band Vinnie Paul, (drummer of pantera/damageplan), is putting together?
I heard the single earlier today.
It sounRAB mediocre at best, but I suppose I'll give em'
a chance to grow on me.

Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Chad Grey from Mudvayne, and the bassist and guitarist from nothingface and Mudvayne's guitarist. Album out April 10...hellyeahband.com

Other than the fact they are both nu-metal, Hellyeah sound nothing like Disturbed.

I saw their music video for one of their songs on Headbangers Ball. It was alright. Wasn't expecting a solo, but even so, I wasn't blown away. And even though I like Mudvayne, I think Chad should take off the cowboy hat. Looked less *** with the eye-liner-emo look.

Don't have an opinion on the two guys from Nothingface. Never listened to the band.

I think Vinnie could have gotten better people. Keep Chad because his vocals CAN be good, and get two more experienced guitarists and a bassist *cough*alexwebster*cough*

I think the band is mainly going to appeal to southern, skin head, alcoholic rednecks. That sounRAB like Vinnie Paul's agenda anyway....I doubt I'll even bother checking their next single. He's definately lost without his brother.

He's got to make enRAB meet somehow. His gold mine got shot several times. :yikes:

i thought they were alright but they were just like any other hard rock band so whatever they wont last long the only ones who will show them any support is a bunch of old drunks who still listen to pantera all the time and having nothing else to do or people who listen to only the radio and have never heard of pantera

I enjoy them and I am not old, nor do I drink, I have plenty to do and I don't listen to the radio, lol.

They already lost their bassist, so I hope that isn't any indication of things to come, like Zorabie_Fetish said.
