ok so ive bin up for 2 n a half hours tryin to suss whats up wit my bike,, when i press the front brake the ligh does light up for braking so i took off the front speedo panel to have a better look,, i took off the brake and lubed up the switch with wd-40 to make sure it wasnt sticking, i even tryed changed the green and yellow with the brown and swaping places with them that worked for a few presses then stopped,, SOMEBODY PLEEASSE HELP AND STOP THIS BALL ACHEEEEEEEE
 
The bulb may have an intermittent fault. This can happen on rare occasions so try a new bulb.
You could make a simple tester with a bulb and some wire to see if leccy is getting to the right places and perhaps confirm or eliminate the switch.
There could be a problem with the wiring being broken somewhere and sometimes it connects - like when you moved the wires to change them around.
 
theres a spring loaded switch ( black ) that opperates when you press the brake call into a bike shop who sell scooters and they will have one in stock £ 2.00 they are easy to fit just pops out and it will cure your problem..
