Hi, I'm new to this forum. At the present time I own a couple of bikes. A Yamaha FZ6 And A Yamaha TW200. And Planning on getting a Suzuki S50 this year. I always like the look of the Intruder since it first came out back in in the mid 80's, but never had the chance of getting one. Well, I decided to get one this year.

I'd like to get some info. from owners of S50 (the good things and bad things I should look for) Thanks.

TW200's are cool! I used to have one. What a fun bike. If they'd build a 350-400cc version that would do highway speeds I'd buy one.

BTW Welcome!

from another new guy. I signed up yesterday. I have a c50t. I have had it
for 16months. It has 12000 miles. I love it. I don't even drive my truck much
anymore. I got the touring package and the extended warranty. I live in Arizona.
I know five people that have c50's and one c90. Everyone loves them. The
only advice I would give to someone looking to buy. Is if you have the money
get the touring package and the extended warranty. Good luck.

I have an S50 but it was my first. I love my bike and ride it every chance I get! As far cons go, the front wheel squeks and it's pretty anoying. I would like to move my pegs further up and lower the back a bit so I am not so vertical. The stock pipes sound fine but I am looking into getting a louder exhast. As far as Pros, It's nimble, light and fast! Great for White Lining on the freeway and cruising city streets. On a side note, I got hit last week on the freeway in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I didn't fall but the bike did. All I had was a bent foot peg and a pushed back turned signal, all of which I fixed myself yesturday. It's got plenty of power for me and I find myself pushing 90mph on the highways all the time. I've ridden nearly every girl I can on it and they love it too. What more needs to be said?

And yes, it looks good.

That's not so bad. Try cleaning the pads. Well that's something that won't bother me. I think the s50 is going to be my next bike.

P.S. What milage do you get? I noticed the tank is only 3.4 gals.
