How long goes the anti freeze last. I don,t know how long it,s been in the car for you see. Best to change it?. It orange, don,t know if that makes ant differance. Thanks for any advice, Paul
Anti freeze lasts about 4 years, brake fluid more importantly lasts 2 years before it should be changed..
Make sure you use the same type that is already in it or one that mixes with any - not all do.
With no service history only a full service on it will ensure you have as little trouble as possible. Note though that trouble is maybe just around the corner - they are paying people more than cars are worth to scrap them even if they are 3 years younger than that one!
