hello i have a samsung R60plus laptop can i upgrade the hard drive?

It has a intel celeron with 1gb ram. The hard drive was 120gb 5400 rpm but it failed, i was wondering if i put a 250gb 7200rpm hard drive in it will it improve my laptop or am i better off just sticking with one at 5400rpm because i can get a 320gb 5400rpm for the same price as the 250gb 7200rpm one. I have not got the money to do up any other part of the laptop so will the 7200rpm make any difference Thanks
