Hello i had a miscarriage October 14th, i was 9 and a half weeks along, I still spotted, months after DNC.I spotted a little over a month and a half, after DNC, almost 2 months after DNC.I went to the doctor and he removed something ALMOST PLUM SIZED FROM ME, while i was awake, IN A CHECKUP (it was just there and he got it out from DOWN THERE.)And well after that day about 4 days after that was pulled out i stopped spotting, and havnt had sex or anything since, but also havnt gotten my period yet. I was woundering if that hurt my chances of becoming pregnant again?Me and my hubby REALLY want CHILDREN.If it doesnt affect it when is it safe for retrying?I was having pretty bad cramping, but not anymore, he gave me some medicine so i didnt get an infection or anything like that.Everythings back to normal, just waiting for my REGULAR period. So i can start recording when PERIODS come, etc.PLEASE HELP? if any of you have experienced this, etc???Thanks in advance =/SPOTTING WAS ON A REGULAR BASES, PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY.

Okay I first want to say how sorry I am for your loss. I myself have suffered a miscarriage and I know how it feels. I think what your doctor removed was remaining tissue that didn't release down. This would be what was causing your to bleed. Your body was trying to flush it but it didn't want to come down. Usually miscarriages, unless really severe that it causes damage, doesn't hurt your chances to conceive again. It is possible that because your body took two months to pass everything out that your body is still adjusting. Some women after a miscarriage have to go on medication to get the body ovulating and having periods again. With that being said I would speak to your doctor and see what he/she has to say. Best of luck and lots and lots of baby dust your way. When it comes to when you should start trying again, I would wait until your start getting your normal cycles back. This will ensure that your body is stable enough to handle pregnancy again. Some women get pregnant again right away and are fine. But most doctors will tell you to wait at least 2 to 3 normal cycles to start trying again.
