hello guys i got a question and im debating it with my proffesors plz help =)?

in reality we are all the same fragile little beings inside.

no people can loose bad habits and gain good ones and people rarely do but they do change.

Do people really change what? Change their personality? Or change their overt, outward behavior? There's a subtle difference.

While overt, outward behavior can change, personality is stable and fixed in childhood. As Phat said, a narcissist will always think highly of themselves and an introvert will always enjoy being alone. An introvert can learn to be outgoing, but the inner tendency or desire will still be towards introversion. To prove this, look at longitudinal studies of personality. There are a lot of studies available to back this up.

I am a psychology grad, and I can say from studying personalities, people do not change overall. Their habits may change as time goes by, but who they are as a person does not. For example, a narcissist will think they are the best no matter what their situation.
