Erm..I dunno were abouts to start.
I'm an 18 year old female. Over the past few months I have been noticing that I am bruising really easily, all over my body. A matter of weeks ago I woke up and found 9 small bruises across my ribcage. My legs and arms are also the same. Obviously it is common to have a few bruises on my legs or arms but to this extent I find that its not normal. I have also been recording my blood pressure about 4-6 times a week, and its always around 150/85-95 mm Hg. Just to include, I am 5ft 10.5 and weigh 12 stone, BMI of 24. Was just wondering what your thoughts/opinions are? Been experiencing bleeding gums for the past two months aswell, which I've never experienced before in my life.
Just over ten weeks ago I had a bad fall and tore liagments in my ankle. I have been attending physio on a weekly basis, and my physiotherapist has stated that hes concerned as I am not having any progress at all. The swelling in my ankle has got worse week by week & i am finding it really difficult managing the pain, allowing time to rest & study at uni.
I have been trying for the past few weeks to get a doctors appointment, which is clearly the best possible way for me to find out some explanation on my concerns.
I would really appreciate some advice/opinions on this thread.
Many thanks,
Amber.
