I have a env and get EVDO with prl 38280 but no evdo with 5244 or 1041

even did *228 again and still nothing even though it does pass completely.

I had a VX8600 and no matter what i could not get it to take EVDO or wap or anything no matter what i was odd, so sometimes PRL has nothing to do with it.

both 5244 and 1041 are non-evdo prls. the 38280 is a roaming evdo prl.

PRLs have been wacked lately i had this test line that i was doing a *228 every hr and i was getting differnt PRLs all the time, i will copy them and post them and see what you guys think. soon as i pay for it that is lol >.>

PRL 5244 which is the roaming PRL I got last time I OTA'd with a blackberry. What is the EVDO PRL and does anyone get it with roaming on your account?

Well the PRL I have is a test PRL given to me by a local technician. *228 still gives me 5244 for roaming, but no EVDO. Maybe one of the previous posters will come back and have more to say about what PRL they are actually using.

38328 is the evdo PRL for san diego and i verified it has no roaming. 5244 is the standard roaming PRL.

anyone have any luck getting a PRL via OTA in san diego yet?

AFAIK there aren't any market specific non-roaming prl's anymore. during evdo trials there were a couple (5xxxxx)

so the 3xxxx prls should all be evdo roaming prls. however the last 2 nurabers of the prl should be the same on all market specific prls. so if your market specific non-evdo roaming prl is 5244 then your evdo roaming prl should be something like 38544 hope that helps you... have you opened the prl up in a roaming list editor to confirm there are no roaming systems listed?
