Hell Drivers

Major Disaster

Caught end of it on BBC2 earlier but seen it few times before, classic IMO, showed we were just as capable of making gripping action thrillers as the americans

Drat! Meant to watch this. I remember seeing it as a kid.
I has quite a good cast list of up-and-coming actors.
I wonder if it will be repeated?

Is this the film that had Sid James in before he started to do the Carry on Films. I think I have seen it before, but it was when I was a kid and that is all I remember about it. I wish I knew it was on I would have watched this.

Just been on the BBC iplayer website and you can watch it from there. The cast looks like the best of British Actors before they became famous.

I have seen this movie a few times over the years. All the actors who appeared in this movie were household names at the time, many of them went onto bigger things such as Sean Connery, Patrick McGoohan, Herbert Lom, Peggy Cummins, and of course Stanley Baker.

I cannot imagine a movie being made today with so many household names appearing in a single movie.

The lovely Peggy Cummins is still alive today, although many of the original cast are now long gone. Everbody who loves good old British movies should have a copy of this.

Damn ! Meant to record this. That'll learn me to set the Sky + immediately and not think 'Oh, I'll do that later'.

Is Sean Connery dead then?! ;)

this is a great film, not just because of the OMG cast....

but there is a little lack of ambition

Wages of Fear = nitroglycerine

Hell Drivers = Blue Circle Cement :D
