I have 2 of these and Ive heard that obtaining the MSL/SPC isent too difficult. Can anyone give me some direction of how and what is required? Free Kyrocera K27 if someone can give me the play by play

Yes I was My sister is now using it.
it doesnt reset,
only when someone senRAB you a picture message, or a text using the internet.
For some strange reason it will reset the phone I cant figure out why.
When it happens you need to switch esn's to another phone so the other phone cant either
A) Recevie the message.
or
B) Reject the message.
Then you can switch back to the drift lol pain in the *** specially if you dont have accesse to cricket like i or some of these other people to do esn changes etc.

So I take it i need to unlock my drift from helio by obtaining the MSL which i can prolly do myself with some software and the drifts usb cable or possibly by just calling helio and asking (except im in default and owe 200ish lol) so can i get some advice there? and second, your saying the drift will work perfectly on cricket, WAP, calls, incoming and outgoing SMS/txt (Not web txt's tho?) and if i get pic messages (i dont) and as long as nobody messages me from thier PC (what about AIM to phone?) Im pretty psyched to get this done asap.. i HATE HATE HATE my Kyrocera K27...

yes but if you get any pic message its going to cost you 30 bucks to change esn twice on your account

Ok and there is no way to block this from happening. Can I ask WHY u have to swap the esl's back and forth when it shuts down,(nvm that.. i see u have to "clear it" using the "good" cricket phone. Im assuming ONCE a pic msg/data is "on the cricket drift" it will just loop startup/shutdown? I guess the general consensus for now is to not do it? That is untill someone can figure out how why and prevent the shutdown issue, or even just how to block the phone from recieving these pics/data? But id die without Wap, altho its terrible on the k27 anyways...

You don't have to switch the esn on your account. After about 72 hours the msg will be removed from the system and the phone will stop rebooting. I currently have the drift on cricket and my lovely wife sent me a picture when I told her not to.
I have yet to figure out a way to get wap working but i'm still trying. Like I said if someone does send an internet txt or mms you have to wait it out. Doesn't matter if the phone is on or off it will eventually get bumped off by the server.

When you send back to Helio PRL or Verizon PRL (50855 for EVDO) the phone wotk fine.
I try to program over the air with *22804 but when starting to programing the phone reset.
Some Solutions???
