Height and Weight

Hi all,

I believe myself to be a very fit and healthy seventeen year old male, I cycle, play frizbee, do pushups etc.

Problem is, is that i'm near if not 6ft (last measured at 5'11 1/2) yet weight a mere 127-130lb's. My hair grows thick fast and shiny, finger nails are the same story, I very very rarely get ill, i'm pretty strong I have only two friends who are stronger than I those being 6'5 and 6'3 and 230lb's

So what gives? I can't put on weight and do I really need to? I bike to work 15km there and back 15mins one way on a old steel mountain bike with slicks, so i'm fit.

I just am tired of being called skinny and very tired of the way my shoulder blades protrude from my back, I have been told by a friend that I have winged scapula, though the doctor said I needn't worry about it when I showed him. I'm going to go again because I get pain from carrying a heavy backpack (I long since stopped this practice but still!)

So Doc give it to me straight I can handle it I tells ya!

You happen to have a fast metabolism that burns up what you put in your body. My oldest son is the same way, exceot he is 6'2" and weighs 139lbs. He just burns off what he puts in.

As long as you are healthy, enjoy it. There are alot of people who wish they were in your situation...

Get on a weight gaining plan. Im also 6'0 but i weigh 175 pounds. I was at 159 pounds as a freshmen and what i started to do was eat lots of fish and chicken. Also add lots of fresh greens in your diet.

You can also try this. After every meal eat 2 pb&honey sandwhiches with a glass of milk. It might be alot to do but if you work out harder and push yourself you should see results
