Right, 11 months ago, i had a baby. ive always had big boobs, (uk 32D) but since having my baby, they ballooned up to 32F. i shower every day, but its like my boobs really smell, and its not pleasent. i have to wash inbetween my boobs like.. 5 times a day. ive never experienced this before baby, and wondering what i could do, or if anyone else has experienced this????

I would get it looked at by gp or midwife, Its not a problem I had, but if you have to shower that many times maybe an infection???

I agree with the answers so far. It's pretty normal. I'm just thinking about how you could prevent it getting so bad you need to wash 5 times a day! I would let them get some air as often as possible, make sure you dry them thoroughly after washing, wear a bra made from natural fibres (cotton - not polyester/nylon) that will help the area breathe better. I have no idea whether antiperspirant (deodorant) will work - but presumably it will stop you sweating there so much..? And give it a quick wipe after each feed to make sure no milk is hanging around. :)

smelly boobs is VERY NORMAL!
it's often caused by hormones, breast milk leaks and sweat.

talk it over with your doctor so they can check your hormones and make sure you're alright.
