Heat

Hahahaha! The only reason all that black is making it faster is because my wallet is getting lighter! Less weight to haul around!

I didn't realize it had a fan on it. May just go ahead and order it. How much is it $$ ?

dr vtwin will hook u up with a killer price ask for shawn or drew. should need help on the install let me know. ultra cool recommends using the switched wire that runs threw the head light. i ran mine to the brake switch which is a cleaner look and u dont see any wires. i think he sells them for $399.00 not sure good luck.

Makes no difference when you're in traffic. My experience is it makes marginal difference when your moving except more air on your legs.

I beg to differ. I have run the gamut with oil temp cooling techniques: syn oil, oil cooler, true duals, stage 1 and SERT dyno tune. Pulling the lowers in the summer has dropped the oil temp on the highway more than the others combined. I can now climb a 10 mile hill at 75 mph and 95 degrees with the oil temp NEVER exceeding 130.

The Jerry Rigs system also might help cool the oil and should make it easier to do an oil change. I don't have one, but it looks like a fine idea to me.

Just don't put on the big engine fan Harley sells to go on the left side of the motor. It may cool the motor somewhat but it will make your right leg hotter the burning coals. This is while driving highway speeds. All that heat it blows from the engine goes right to your right leg.
