Yes i get exactly that. I have had my heart checked out thoroughly, but i still seem to sometimes wonder since my pain is right there. What convinces me otherwise is when i burp, the pain goes away. Also, when i drink a hot or cold liquid, i feel the liquid hit the spot (my heart area), where i feel the pain which tells me it is not my heart, but my stomach/esophagus. The gas seems to put pressure there, and when i burp, it relieves the pressure and the pain. The pain sometimes feels like a pushing pressure or a dull ache, throw in a few instantaneous sharp pains on occasion. My endo's have shown gastritis and ulcers, which also can cause some pain, but the burping relieves the pain. My biopsies indicate caustic erosion, ie too much acid.
