Heartbeat in Mail4Exchange 3.00.050

Gorgonesh, I got the sis file from you to install. I think the ones from Tintin weren't for FP1 devices. Now that I have it loaded I'm running into the same problem, albeit worse. It connected and did the initial sync. It dropped the connection after a minute and now does no regular syncs. It is 12:20 right now and it hasn't synced with outlook since 11:00. I think I'm going to have to go the hard reset route. I disabled the calendar sync as well as I remember that being an issue for something and I still have no luck.

Are there new emails that have come in that aren't showing up on the device? What version of Exchange are you using? You may need to work with your IT people to get this working.

There were 3 emails that had come through without a sync. I have since installed 3.07 because even though it kills my battery, at least I get email every 5 minutes instead of 15. I spoke with our IT guy last week and he hadn't changed anything and no one else had problems. We're a small company and a good chunk run iPhones. A couple on Windows mobile. One on a Palm Pro. A few might be on Android. Our IT guy will be in tomorrow so I'll see if there is something with the firewall or server he can see that cuts off my data connection.

So I think I'm out of luck unless they fix MFE. My IT guy said no one else is having issues and that I should just set it to sync every 15 minutes. I found a copy of 2.7 that I installed. I could set the heartbeat and within an hour or 2 it would automatically reduce to 1. I set it at 15 and even 30 and within a couple hours it reduced itself to 1. I wish I could go back to running fw 200 and whatever version of MFE I was using because always on worked just fine.
