Hearing weird things on the baby monitor?

last night was the first night i put my son in his own room to sleep. and on the baby monitor i kept hearing a banging noise and then i swear to god i heard a little girl say "its ok". as soon as i heard that i grabbed my son and had him sleep the rest of the night in my room. has anyone else experienced this? is my sons room haunted or am i just hearing things? it was freaky!

That is totally freaky and completely understandable. Like someone else said, I also could hear an entire phone conversation in our first residence. Then when we moved I could hear someones radio station. Try putting the monitor that is in the babies room in a different spot or switching "channels" on the monitors.
