Hearing out of sync with sight

Hi, a few months ago I started complaining about my TV being broken because I would see people's mouths move and then hear the words about 1.5 seconds later. However recently I noticed that when I'm talking to someone I also experience this delay, they move their lips but I hear the sound about a second later. Is this something psychosomatic?

Far more likely to be a problem with your brain and how it is relaying the signals to both brain sights. See a neurologist.

Are you having any other symptoms such as any kind of hearing loss or other odd things to do with your ears? If so, I would find the best otolaryngologist (an ENT) in your area- ear/nose/throat expert.
