NOTHING raises your metabolism more than lifting weights (building muscle) and cardio. Stick to those two. Pills don't work.
Instead of "healthy items" you should be more concerned with "nutrients" and the correct amount of each to induce fat loss. THAT is dependent on your current weight and slightly based on your goal weight. Both of which you don't state.
Wal-mart all-in-one vitamin is fine. It won't make or break you.
Eating out is not smart if your serious about losing fat. There is no way to quantify what is in those meals.
