I didn't bring my lunch today and will be eating fast food likely. What are some good, tasty options? I can go to most any fast food joint, but also could eat chinese food, Panera bread, Chili's...

Subway is your healthiest fast food option. If you drive through somewhere or order to pick up, order a salad - make sure there is no breaded chicken and use a vinaigrette dressing - no ranch, bleu cheese, thousand island, etc.

If you aren't wanting a salad and you must have a burger, somewhere that charbroils is going to be healthier - Burger King, In N Out, & Jack In the Box all charbroil their burgers (be sure to get no mayo to dramatically cut down the calories) and order a side salad instead of fries. If you go to Wendy's, order chili and a salad or a baked potato with a salad - those are both low fat options as well

If you go to Taco Bell, order al fresco style to cut down on the fat and calories. Arby's roast beef sandwiches aren't too bad for you either - it's the fries that throw the meal down the drain (nutrition wise)

Panera bread or chinese food
You can get a salad or even a sandwich with whole grain bread.
For chinese food, get chicken with broccoli or something like that

if you go to subway don't get the tuna....it loaded with mayonnaise and it's the worst thing to get at subway. Subway is healthy if you stay clear of the tuna, mayonnaise, salt, oil and vinegar.
Garden burgers are good for you and delicious.

I'd steer clear of Chinese and Chili's. Even Chili's guiltless grill isn't really worth the price. You could have soup and salad from Panera. If you go to a fast food restaurant, look for a grilled chicken sandwich, like Burger King's Tendergrill Chicken Sandwich (order this without mayo) or usually ham and cheese sandwiches aren't too bad, just high in sodium. Jack in the Box has excellent, filling salads. I usually get the Southwest Chicken salad without chicken or with grilled chicken if I need protein. Their chicken pita is fairly healthy too. Wherever you go, if you order a combo meal ask to swap the fries out for a side salad. Even if I decide not to eat the fries, if they're in the bag I can't help myself so I don't want them anywhere near me. :) Almost all fast food places list the nutritional information for their menu on their website so take a look there before you go.

Go to Subway. They have good subs. And they are healthy. Fresh meats and fresh vegetables. Or you can get a Salad at Subway.

Avoid Chinese food.. It's very tastey but probably not the healthiest option.

Any fast food place will have a salad. They key is not drowning it in their dressing.. Ask for a vinegarette dressing if you absolutely must have it, and then only put on about half of the package.

If you want something a bit heavier, most places have grilled chicken/fish. Just be sure that if it's a sandwich, you leave off the mayo.

Also, I think Chili's has a menu called "Guiltless Grill" that is pretty decent.

Basically, anywhere you go will have something moderately healthful. Just be smart about what you order- it's pretty much common sense.

Go to subway! You can eat pretty healthy there because they have veggie wraps and stuff!

go to Jack in the box and get one of their BIG salads they are wonderful and fill you up

Probably Subway, they have all sorts of varieties. It may not be the absolute HEALTHIEST choice but I mean its better than something like Mc Donalds... BLEH!

I guess the healthiest would be Subway.

Or, Chilli's or Apple Bee's. Get a salad or something!

Go to Subway! Eat Fresh!!

You have to be careful at places like Panera bread, chili's (awful) & Chinese can be very bad too depending on what you get (the sauces are bad)
