false? Frequent strength training may help prevent osteoporosis, the bone-thinning disease.
A) True
B) False

It is in my study guide packet for Health Class, and I can't find the answer in my text book...can someone help me out please?? I tried googling it and still can't find the answer.

I say false. Osteoporosis is due to the lack of Calcium, and Vitamin D.And,this tends to happen over a period of time...as we age.
And,I also say that why would strength training help if a person is lacking in Calcium and Vitamin D.

This is only my opinion, and it isn't based on any medical fact!
