"Health care reform in the United States should include a public government sponsored alternative to compete with private insurers"

Please explain this statement... could you please translate this into more formal statement therefore I can understand it better please...

Should the public demand that national health care is ok if we are shown those under 250k incomes do not have to pay. Should the public demand that the Cap and Trade will not tax those who earn less than $250,000. Should the printing of money create hyper inflation should we demand the administration step down. After all inflation is a tax that we were promised we would not see.

This means the Government will dictate (fact) what can be charged by hospitals and physicians making the "insurance" they offer cheaper. This will eventually drive many for profit insurance companies out of business. This is a simple back door attempt to take over 1/7 of the Nation's economy.

It means you can either buy private health insurance from companies that already exist, or you can buy a health insurance policy from the government. This policy would compete with private insurance companies (like the post office competes with UPS and FedEx) and would help bring down health care costs for everyone.
