I have a full suspension bike and would like to add one or two lights so I can do some riding at night. I love hitting jumps/bumps and going out and making new trails. I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion on what make/model to get. I need one thats goin to be really bright, 2 settings(high/low) , waterproof or water resistant, at least 3 hours battery life on high, able to light up a pitch black trail. I would like to keep it as cheap as possible but I know I ask alot so I am willing to spend more as long as its worth it. Thanks ppl! Oh yea, anything I should look for before I buy, like lumens etc.

You get what you pay for with nearly anything and lights are NO exception. Here is one to consider : http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1030813_-1_23000_20000_23015 and this is the one I use on my handlebar. This is the one I use on my helmet: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1030813_-1_23000_20000_23015. When ridding at night it is a whole different game out there and you need a focused beam of light directly in front of you on your HB but to be safer you need the ability to project light from your head to see up the trail ahead of you as just one light is generally not enough. If you ride the same trail frequently and you are out there one night and a tree fell over the trail and you cant scan ahead then what do you think is going to happen? Can you jump it? maybe or do you slam into it because you couldnt scan ahead. One light is not enough to ride safely at night on the trail! The Sol light only has one setting and is most certainly bright enough to light your way. Night rider is likely the top producer of quality bike lights in the world next to light and motion. All other are lesser models and are not recommended for night ridding on trails in the woods, at least not by my standards.
