HDTV as a monitor

I'm having a problem with resolution. I can't see text that well, and I can't seem to correct it.

Are there any settings, besides the obvious, that I should be looking at? Are there any programs that help with this sort of thing (other than Vista or Media Center . . . )

Any help would be appreciated.

Can your TV do 1:1 pixel mapping? If so, set your PC to the TV's native resolution and set the TV to 1:1. If not, it will always be somewhat blurry.

It's stretching/shrinking the resolution. Set your computer's output resolution to your TV's native resolution (check manual if you don't know), that way it wont have to stretch it, which is leaving you with the blurry text.
