So i have a laptop that only has VGA out and a HD ready TV that has VGA and HDMI in. I have a HD MKV film on my laptop and i want to watch it on my TV. I have a VGA-VGA cable but would a VGA- HDMI be any better? What a bout a conversion box or adapter? Finally my laptop dosent have a HDMI or DVI output so does that mean that I am doomed to VGA and Compsite video unless i buy a new laptop?
