HDMI cable Help for Ps3?

Wondering which HDMI cable would you recommend for a PS3. I have a 1080P / full HD TV. I do at the moment have a HDMI which i got from a family member, but my problem is i cant tell the difference at all between a Blu Ray and a normal DVD just doesnt seem High def to me. not sure if the cable is the problem.
