Hello.
Is it normal, on a new laptop, for the HDD light to be nearly always flashing? The laptop is an ASUS X58L with Windows Vista 32 Bit. The HDD light and loading sound always seems to be on, with it using around 5 to 11% even when I'm not using the laptop. Occasionally, it will go off, and only on when I am using it. And yes, I have checked for viruses and root-kits and got nothing of the scan.
Is it normal? I haven't really used Vista before, only XP. Also is Windows Vista Basic Home version SP1.
Well, I think it only started to do it after performing Windows Automatic updates.
