What a dumbass,

You say that Pedrosa was a better rider on the 800 based on testing right? Well Im pretty sure Honda designed the bike before they did any of the testing....of course I am stating the obvious which you seemed to have missed altogether. Point is, the little guy was faster than Hayden because the bike was built around him from the start. We are talking about 3 million dollar bikes. You make it sound like Honda built production based GP bikes that would suit most any riders...uhhh I think not. Every single piece is specific the the riders size, style and input. In this case mostly Pedrosa's specs. This input was used to produce both of their bikes and it simply did not fit Haydens size or style of riding. If you did not know, Honda had been grooming Pedrosa and supplying him with bikes since the age of 14 and always has been "the chosen one". You are right on one point, Honda was absolutely going to try and win the 07 title....just with Pedrosa not Hayden. They had been saying this for three years already. Where have you been?? Also, there was innuendo that Hayden was on the way out after 06 and the only reason Honda kept him on, and for obvious reasons, was because he won the Championship. They had to keep him after 06'. Truth is they have been looking to deal him away for some time now and that is why Pedrosa went straight away to the #1 position in Honda since his arrival. By the way I also love the way you state that you refuse to involve yourself in the personalities of the sport then proceed to tell us how much you hate/love 3 different riders. wtf??? I also like the way you insist Honda should have done this, should done that or that you would prefer Ducati take Gibber or tested Hayden first...I'll be sure to pass that along to the folks at Ducati.

Good Lord Phil, two posts here (one a copy of the other) and your already slamming someone? Guess it doesn't take much to get you going

One bike magazine here in europe "knows".... Hayden and Kallio D`Antin Ducati (Red Bull Ducati -09)and Capirossi take his old place in official Ducati... Well, who knows....

I agree with your statements. I understand that people like to root for the bike they like but the truth is the rider is the winner! Why do you think riders are traded like the NFL first round draft pick? The manufacturers know that if they got a rider that could put them on the podium, they have a better chance for sales because of brand. If not, then they could build a bike that would win regardless of who is riding.

That's why I watch the races to see who is performing best. I really don't care about which bike/manufacturer is coming in first place. Oh, and do you think these professional riders have manufacturer integrity????????

I think there are a lot of factors that determine who wins. can't really simplify to saying that the best rider is the winner. if that was the case rossi would have won in '06 and '07. it does play a big factor but there are just too many other variables involved even down to your support crew(ie. rossi basically taking his entire crew from honda with him to Yamaha).

And as far as sales, i would think superbike and supersport results would affect sales and not motogp bikes which have absolutely nothing in common iwht production bikes.

+1 on that.

Phil, ease up, yo. You're calling one of the most respected members here a dumbass and we don't even KNOW YOU. That makes you like a schoolroom on Saturdays...

...switch to Sanka before you blow an embolism.

i think the only thing for sure is that Hayden is going to Ducati, the rest of it is all guesswork from the lot of you... never read so much BS in my life from all the "experts" here...

oh wait, just head down to the Kitchen Sink...lots of BS there
