Hayden paint Track plastics

Well, I just finished my track plastics. Just in time for Fontana this weekend. They turned out ok. I had the wife come out and paint the small blue stars. My local PPG shop color matched the Ducati red pretty well.

Unfortunately the single stage blue reacted when I tried clearing over it, even after I sanded it down. Owell. Still looks ok for race glass.

Damn!!! looks hella nice.....I need to hire you to paint my track fairings since I live up the street in Murrieta. How much did you spend on paint? anyways excellent job on painting the fairings.

Well, the HMF's are sweet. They are LOUD! I havent had them on the road besides down the street. First real ride will be on the track this weekend.

I will try and get a sound clip when I can. Only $450 shipped from Ebay new. Cant beat it.

Thanks for the feedback on the bike guys. Picture was taken from a crackberry. Looks better in person.

Thanks. Well, I spent $60 on the red ducati base coat (1 pint).

I had clear coat, white, blue (my graves yamaha color) already from previous track plastics.

Probably about $200 in paint. I use my third car garage as a booth.

Im not perfect by any means, but looks good enough for track plastics. There are some flaws for sure, but most people wont see them. I can help you out when your ready.

Thanks Brandon, I got the rearsets on. I ended up using the stock shift linkage, so I will bring your aftermarket one and peg to you on Saturday at Fontana.

Im pissed, that oil drain plug looks impossible to drill for safety wiring. Thats all I have left to do before the weekend.
