Bayliss is going to test ride the GP9 in Monza next week.....is he being called upon by Ducati to see if he can be more competitive than Hayden? Anymore near last place finishes and I bet they give Bayliss an offer he can't refuse.

I hope you are right but i think its crap. he was always going to do some testing. If you would like to contribute to the cause please vote here;

I like Nicky cause he is from the USA but I am sorry he is just not performing up to this point. It just seems like no one can tame the Ducati except Stoner.

Bayliss is only "test-riding" for the Ducati Moto GP team and all reports indicate that he's there to give input and feedback in order to further develop the GP9.

It's getting to the point where Stoner is proving to be some sort of freak of nature, the "exception to the rule", given that no one else (team mates or privateers) can make the GP D16s work to any great effect.

Hopefully Bayliss' input will help change that.

Give Hayden some more time. He was shaping up before his first big off. That sucked and was a set back, but he was recovering nicely till he got taken out again at Motegi. That I can only assume really, really hurt.

I don't think Bayliss is going to replace Hayden. Ducati won't give up on Hayden that quickly, and as hard as Hayden works, it will only be a matter of time before he is moves up in the standings.

I think Troy will give imput and help develope the bike. What a cool retirement gig! Ride the most advanced bikes, help develope them, get paid good money to do it, and have none of the pressure to win championships. Perfect job if you ask me, though I know competition is in their blood.

Ducati won't give up on him that quick. He's the #2 guy on the team. He's not expected to win his first year. Give him a couple races to show he can perform on this machine.
