Hello everyone. I've been skating for a couple months now but i can't get tricks. Oh by the way i ride goofy (look to the left, right foot up front, left foot in the back, left foot pushing). Each time i try to ollie i send my back foot completely off the board when its in the air. Sometimes i can't even get it in the air. And when i try to do a kickflip i pop the board and swipe my right foot to the right just like I'm supposed to but halfway through the spin the board slams down to the ground. I'm not sure how or when in the trick but i slam it down. Does anyone have any advice so i can finally get these tricks?
