Having trouble with fuel pump on a 1992 Toyota pu.2.4L 4x4?

Pump wasn't working so i took it out checked it out with bat.And it worked fine.So i put it back in.And it did not work.Checked the wire connection and it did not work.So i checked all the fuses and replace what was bad.I even replaced the( EFI) fuse.Still the pump didn't work.So i checked the wire harness and could not find any breaks in it.Could it be the ICU.Is there a something else that works with the pump that i should check??
I hooked the pump up to direct power and gas was flowing good even threw fuel filter.there is no power coming from the coming from line that connects the pump
i did replace all relays that had to do with fuel pump.except for icu
What if i ran a hotwire with a switch to the pump to make it work will it hurt anything.?
 
run a hot wire from bat to fuel pump direct and if it comes on then you have a bad connection if u can not find it run your hot wire and a toggles switch
