I've been trying to introduce more table food since he was around 8.5 months, and he has yet to really take to them. If he ever puts anything in his mouth that has a little bit of texture he will try spitting it out. I've tried all sorts of table foods (real veggies, fruits, pasta, tiny chunks of meat) and he is just refusing to eat any of it. I even try putting it on his tray thinking maybe he wants to feed himself and not have me feed him from a utensil, but all he does when I do that is play with it. He loves cheerios and bread, so I think he might just have a problem with wet-ish foods. Is this just a phase? He will eventually be ok with real food, right?
Thanks.
Thanks.
