I believe I have followed the instruction manual, but I have not been successful.
Using the old monitor, I set the Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768 ( manual recommendation = under 1360 x 768) and the Screen Refresh Rate to 60 Hz ( manual recommendation = under 60Hz, but 60Hz is the lowest choice available) It works perfectly well on a friend’s TV (can’t remember the make) but on my ORION TV-32082, there is a problem.
When I switch the computer on, I can enter “setup” and alter some of the computer settings, but when it starts to load Windows XP, the Windows logo appears on the screen for a few seconds and then the screen goes blank. I get the message “No Signal” but the computer continues to load. I know that because when I reconnect to the old monitor Widows is fully loaded.
Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?
The manual states that HDMI is not supported, which is just as well because I don’t know what it means.
