Having sex for the first time with a post-op trans-woman?

My girlfriend recently revealed to me that she is a post-op trans-woman. I consider myself pretty experienced sex-wise, I've been with both men and women, but I've never been with a trans-woman. We've been discussing having sex for the first time but it worries me because I have no experience in this area. Is having sex with a post-op trans-woman much different than having sex with a woman? Please help. Sorry if I sound ignorant (I am). Thanks.
Oh also, I read that when they have the surgery, the vagina is only about 6 inches long. My penis is larger than that. Would that be a problem?
 
It's the same.

Just treat her like any other women.

The only difference is you may need some lube. Or not.

I know it sounds hard, but try to forget her medical history. That's something in her past. Help make her future a happy one.
