ok, i just moved in to college about a week ago. I had alot of friends at my high school, and im not shy. but let me explain my situation and see if anybody can help me out.
I live in the dorms, in a two person dorm, the doors close automatically,(so its not like people have their dorms open to meet)
my roomate knows alot of people and is home about maybe 5 percent of the time, the reason he didnt room with one of the people he knows is because he is gay (which i am completely ok with), and all his friends are girls. but we dont have much in common, and we dont talk much because he is never home. I dont know anybody from my high school that goes here. This leaves me in a weird spot, where after class i have no where to go and nothing to do. I try to walk around and meet people, but it seems like everybody else has friends, or are good friends with their roomates. so im kind of alone right now, and i dont know anybody or have anybody to go meet people with.
I've only been here for a week, but i wanted to ask before it was already too late
