Have you/would you ever talk about sex with your parents?

I would NEVER talk to anyone for that matter about sex. I can find everything I need to know online (no not porn!) so I dont feel the need to.
Share your experiences people!
 
of course! but it all depends on your relationship with them. if you know you trust them, and know they have great advice, then yes! you should absolutely talk to them about it, and have them answer any questions you may have...

I am a mom and bought my 22 year old daughter a vibrator for christmas does that count? Our girls are 16,19, 21 and 23... dinner conversation most times is sexual, in a funny way.
 
My mom didn't, but If I had daughters I sure would and I wouldn't think twice about doing it either. I am very open adult. I think one of the problems today is that parents aren't educating there children enough about sex. Sure you can learn about anything online, but its the parents opinion that can mean the most and be more important in the long run.
 
No, I think it would be way too awkward and if i ever have a question i just come to yahoo answers or i use google.
 
Well, I can see your point, but I think children shoul be made gradually aware of sex and all it's implications - and from a reasonably young age. I wouldn't sit my ten year old down at the computer and tell him to find out what he can about sex as there's just far too much information out there - and with no background knowledge, how do you even know what to look for? I think a parent should give the basics, answer questions a child might have, then if they want to research further, then that's fine.

As an adult, then yes - no way do you need to talk about sex with parents!
 
my parents have always been open about sex with me. i read everything i need/want to know on the internet tho and pretend to my parents that i think it's gross.
