have you seen DaVinci Code yet?

seeing it saturday, but my buddy saw it and he said it was absolute shit and the whole movie was basically people talking and talking and no action at all... but im still seeing it

Just got back from it and I must say that this movie is fantastic. The critics who say it's a bad movie are fucking retarded.

I'd give it a B. rottentomatoes gave it a 13% which is half of what that ship movie was, and that ship movie blew.

pretty much says it all right there. i just got back from it. it wasn't my favorite movie, but i did enjoy it.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were.

The Catholics here are trying to get it banned Nationwide. Already got through the board of censors but the Arch Bishop is on a moral crusade and ev en one of the two English speaking papers see watching this as siding with the devil

Just gives it so much more publicity. Makes me want to watch the film and read the book (Had it a while but never really interested in it).

Still, the Catholics took the stance that if it was allowed to be shown (all be it with a mature rating) they should buoycott the movie.

Really, I'd have it no other way. Don't want to see it? Don't go to see the damn movie.

Still if it is banned it'll probably turn up in one of the market stalls in a week or so on CD.

Haven't read the book. And if the book is anything like the movie, I probably won't read the book in the future.

All in all, pretty lackadaisical and predictable. I didn't really care what happened after that guy got arrested (im being vague for spoiler reasons) It dragged on and on and on. I can't see any reason why churches would be up in arms over this movie. I was entertained more by the recent Google contest that had the puzzles that were related to the movie.

I think those that didn't like it are those that haven't read the book. If you think about it, there isn't really much action within the plot of the book, more like Langdon explaining various concepts and theories in a series of real-time and flashback moments. I'm pretty certain if you have read the book, you won't be disappointed in the least. There are MILLIONS of little details in that book that no 2hr movie can do justice to.

the people that think this movie is amazing are probably "24" fans... i expected a lot more from a movie that has the potential to beat titanic in the box office
