I talked to rush rep out in sturgis about the heat from the cat.He told me if i used there head pipes allready had there muffles i wouldnt need a tuner . Cant believe the differance in heat since changing it plus it got louder

Talked to the dealer about this day. They said if a dealer did it , it would not void the warranty, but this guy also didn't realize they had a cat in the pipes either. I was going to wait til i had 1000 miles on it before i make the change (if my right leg can wait that long)

have a 2009 CVO Roadglide. replaced only the head pipe with a non-cat one from e-bay. went to sturgins this year and was concerned with heat. went through jamie@fuel moto and did a pc-v... perfect. now trying to decide on just rinehart 4 inch slip ons or their true duals. Trailered there and back from Michigan, but rode 700 miles+ while there and also did iron mountain road. Felt good riding, no specs/dyno sheet. just had fun!

My dealer told me when I did the cat-less head pipe, sert and ac and vance and hines slip ons on my 2011 street glide last week that they would inspect it and it would pass but the emissions warranty would NOT be in effect. The rest of the warranty for the engine etc was not affected by this ONLY the "emissions". I was hoping since I let them do it to a new motorcycle that they would include it in the 2 year warranty, but that is not the case.
