Have you ever seen a photo of a prisoner in a prison van?

I was watching the news and it showed the teacher who had injured the 14 year old leaving the court in a prison van. There were at least 6 photographers running alongside the van holding their cameras up to the windows, taking photos and then looking at the cameras.

Now I've never seen a newspaper photo of a prisoner in a prison van, but seen photographers doing this for years.

So why do they do it if the photo is never any good anyway

Maybe they're hoping to sell the photo to a tabloid.

Im not sure maybe they are not allowed to release the photo to the press?

that's a good point i have never seen a photo that has been taken that way but they always try i suppose they just think they may get lucky one day
