Flutter by, butterfly- Not my usual piece but i'm trying to branch out a little so do you have any suggestions for me?

Perched on a delicate lotus flower
the fragile butterfly takes it's break.
Along the wing, a pattern sketched
perfect, a design without mistake.

A beat of the wings marks ascent
as it reaches higher towards blue.
Flutter by elegant butterfly
and let the monarchs be with you.
I'm more honoured than offended by the emulation, it was sublime, thank you.
 
why a lotus flower!!!

butterflies like buddleia and nettles - they aren't dilettante pseuds!

lotus flowers be damned!

when have you actually seen one?

get real.
