Have you ever said things like a book in your head?

Have you ever written a book/story, and then afterward's you say everything in your head like a book? Obviously it sound's weird-i know- but i have been writing lately, and i feel like when i am not writing, i say everything like i would in my book?

Ex.
Book would say-The sky was a blue i'd never seen before, and it made everything around me look brighter.

Well when i am not writing, i used to just say, "Oh, the sky is blue", but now I end up saying it just as i would if i were writing, is this normal?

I did that and couldn't stop for about a year when I was a kid. But I wasn't writing then. Now I do occasionally get into a poetic mood and think of these really weird metaphors to describe random things, like the reflection of bolts in a door on a metallic surface. Or I put together strange phrases to describe something in my story, because I'm ALWAYS thinking about it- a "fell zephyr" to describe the cold breeze, for instance.
I know this isn't exactly what you described, but I know what you mean, and I don't think it is abnormal at all.

I do it all the time! So if your not normal then neither am I! But I mean you can't just sit there and write a book and then when you stop just let the story go completely! It doesn't work like that! You sound like a real author.

Oh that's been happening to me for years!

It really makes life more colorful. :D
I don't think it sounds wierd at all, in fact ever since I started writing, a few years ago, I see and interpret things differently. Wherever I go, I'm always trying to remember how things feel and what I would say if I were to write about them.

Don't repress it, you may have been tapping into your inner muse. :D
