Do people really support this military and violent intervention ignoring the real facts? if you really read history you will realize that Qaddaffi started a revolution and gave freedom to its people from the monarchy, when Libyan people were under the monarchy rule they were opressed, enslaved, really poor, womens didn't have freedom, they did not have education, Qadaffi gave freedom to its people, he gave education, general alphabetization, the highest HDI of Africa, the second strongest economy of Africa, rising living standard, gave rights to the womans, the politicians and the goverments that are judging him as a tyrant and human rights violator have no morals to do so, he hasnt have killed ''civilians'' he has been attacking rebel targets, rebels with military weapons and killing civilians and as we cann see they want the rule of the real tyrant monarchy back under the sponsorship of less than a dozen of occidental powers and a couple of arab countries that call themselves ''the international comunity'', which are paradoxically ''protecting civilians'' while they are bombing civilian targets, and killing inocent civilians far and wide, since when the occidental superpowers and politicians of first world countries are so concerned about the life of inocent people in third world countries? they are only there for one reason OIL, dont be so brainwashed fox news lambs, grab a book and study, does the truth hurts that much?.

Mike how do you link the responsability of Gadaffi in all this? I might think its an strategy of the own rebels over the protesters to justify everything whats happening.
 
Yes, I am currently reading the history of Libya. Gadaffi was responsible for the Lockerbie tragedy. He is a terrorist scumbag, and he will go. And it has nothing to do with the "history of Libya." Are you on crack?

Only there for one reason? Oil? OK, where is all that Iraqi oil we should be getting? If we want oil so bad why don't you think we just don't go take over Saudi Arabia or even Iran first. Lybia matters not if thats all we wanted. We want Qaddaffi to pay for all the past bombings he has supported in the past. We want him to leave and give Lybian people real freedom from dictatorship. And I'm a liberal.
 
You are right on the money. Innocent civilians ...my but. They are armed with heavy artillery. They are the terrorist. Gadhafi in Jan. of this year was praised by the U.N. for humanitarian efforts. We need to back off and let him deal with his own civil war. If it wasn't about oil why are the people of Yemen not getting support of the Eng. and Fr. and U.S.? THEY HAVE NO OIL. Yet, their innocent and peaceful protesters are being shot and killed there. Who the he** cares?
I honestly don't know what the heck is going on over there but we do not need to be in the mix.
Someone needs to tell us what exactly is the end game.
I don't know why you keep getting bumped,,,it is a valid question, and needs to be addressed. O.K. guys if he has been such an a hole why did it take terrorist taking over a major city for the world to sit up and take notice?
